Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation

This qualification is tailored specifically for individuals without any previous qualifications or experience in beauty or aesthetics, making it an accessible regulated pathway into the thriving field of aesthetics.
The comprehensive curriculum covers essential topics such as health, safety, anatomy, physiology and skincare, which all lay the foundational knowledge necessary for effective practice. 
The course is a blend of home study theory and practicals, with all hands-on training taking place at our Manchester City Centre venue.
You can enrol at anytime and the course takes on average 8 months to complete depending on how much time you can commit to study.

Entry Requirements
To enrol onto this qualification learners must be aged 18 or over and have a valid First Aid or equivalent qualification. If you do not have a first aid qualification then we can provide this and it can be added extra.
NO PREVIOUS qualifications or experience in Beauty or Aesthetic Practice is required

Qualification Units

To achieve this qualification a learner must successfully complete the following eight units
CO401: Health, safety and hygiene for aesthetic procedures
CO402: Client consultation for aesthetic procedures
AP401: The biochemistry and biology of cells
AP402: Skin morphology and the inflammatory response
AP403: Skin disorders and diseases relative to aesthetic practice
AP409: Skin rejuvenation using micro needling
AP410: Skin rejuvenation using superficial chemical peels
AP301: Skincare to support aesthetic procedures

Delivery Structure
The course has a blended learning structure comprised of theoretical home study, practical training at our Academy in Manchester City Centre, zoom training/meetings and one to one tutorials and reviews to help support you complete your qualification
As soon as you enrol you can start to read and look through the course content. Your tutor will be in touch to discuss in detail the programme and develop an individual learning plan with you so you are clear on what is expected of you.
You will attend a two day practical session at Manchester. This will involve an induction, any required first aid training and hands on work with live models.
You will then go away and continue your home study, theory work, attend zoom calls and complete any relevant case study work and revision for exams.
When your theory is completed you will return for a final two days practical assessment session working on live models.
